131st Amendment Bill, 2026

Union Government of India introduced 131^st Amendment Bill, 2026 on April 16, 2026 vide Bill No. 107 of 2026. Along with much debated Women’s reservation, the Union Government introduced two more bills – the Delimitation Bill, 2026 and the Union Territories Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2026. These bills combined indicates a significant and major restructuring of our country’s electoral and federal framework.
